Updated: Jun 11, 2022

Dizziness is a common brain dysfunction and one of the most common clinical symptoms. It is a feeling of empty or swelling in the brain.

When dizziness is accompanied by a balance disorder or a spatial dysfunction disorder, the patient feels the peripheral environment rotates, moves or shakes itself.

Dizziness is often seen in the early stages of depression. It can occur alone, but more often with headaches.

If you feel dizzy for a long time, it may be a precursor to serious illness and should be taken seriously.

The causes of dizziness include the following:

1. Neurological disease

Such as cerebral ischemic lesions, cerebellar lesions, brain trauma, certain types of epilepsy.

2. Ear disease

If the disease in the ear affects the balance, it can cause dizziness.

3. Other diseases

Dizziness may be one symptom of other diseases such as hypertension, hypotension, various cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and etc.

4. Cervical Vertebrae Degeneration

Due to long-term exposure to poor posture or poor sleeping position, the neck muscles may be tightened. That means the arterial blood supply is blocked, and blood supply for the brain is insufficient, which becomes the main cause of dizziness.

5. Anemia

If there is dizziness accompanied by fatigue, the possibility of anemia should be considered.

6. High blood viscosity

Hyperlipidemia and thrombocytosis can increase blood viscosity, slow blood flow, resulting in insufficient blood supply to the brain, which may also cause dizziness, fatigue and other symptoms.

From our opinions, we will diagnosis the reason of dizziness first. then use acupuncture to strength the Qi and Blood inside the meridian. Offer nutrition for the weak organs. Help the patient to reach a new balance inside the body. After one period's treatment, the symptom will be released.
