Cervical Pain

Cervical pain is now very common. It does not only affect office workers, but also students. This is due to the sedentary lifestyles - people sit on the chair sometimes dozens of hour per day.

So when there is cervical pain, what method can be used to relieve it? How do sedentary students and office workers prevent cervical pain?

1. Massage the neck.

When you sit up straight, keep the neck upright, then lift one side of the arm and gently push it in the opposite direction with your finger. When the cervical vertebra is sore, you can take this massage to relieve the pain of the cervical spine.

2. Roll to the left and right.

Stand up straight, feet apart to the shoulder width. Then slowly roll the head slowly from left to right, take a deep breath, and then move from right to left. Repeat this action 5 to 10 times when cervical pain occurs, which can effectively relieve cervical pain.

3. high suspension

You can hold a horizontal bar with both hands and hang your body on it. Due to the gravity, the cervical vertebra can be stretched to relieve the pain of the cervical vertebrae.

4. hot compress

If you have the conditions, you can apply a hot towel or hand warmers to the spot of pain. Hot compresses can enhance blood circulation, thus ensuring smooth circulation of blood, which plays a role in relieving cervical pain.

So how do we prevent cervical pain?

1. Stand up and take a rest during the hard time of work and study. Relieve the pressure on the cervical spine.

2. Maintain the correct sitting posture.

3. Exercise more, enhance physical fitness, strengthen the muscles of the neck.
